A pretty good first day for the goats!
This afternoon we let the doelings out to explore their new home. They had a few moments of learning with the electrified poultry netting, but I think they are figuring it out with the minimum of discomfort.
They really seemed to enjoy the thicket they have to browse and run through. Throughout the afternoon we found them alternating between sunning in the open and lounging in the shade.
The chickens found them amusing, but didn’t seem so happy when the goats came in to eat their supper. M I cleaned out the chicken feeders to we can use them to isolate the feed for everyone.
All in all a good first day, so glad to be able to be home for it. Tomorrow we will see how it all goes around the normal work schedule.
