As the Chicks rapidly outgrew their hatchery tub, we had to quickly get a coop built and move them outside. I followed Justin Rhodes’ of abundantpermaculture.com Chicken Tractor design. It was pretty easy to follow and took about a weekend to get everything and build it.

I’ve also been learning about electric fences and have thoroughly tested that 3,000 volts hurts. Bobby also found that out when he couldn’t get back to the coop after spending a day digging around it. Check it all out in the video below.
